Updated Advertising Policy for The Christian Recorder
The Christian Recorderis the official organ of the AME Church. Due to various inquiries to our office, we are sharing our updated advertising policy. Ads for the News Digest are $150 based upon availability and content. Ad space on the website is also available. 1/4, ½, and Full Page Ads are available in the print publication. Events
All information on events and relevant programs from Episcopal District offices, general officers, and connectional organizations is not charged for placement. All other announcements, e.g., retirements and local church anniversaries are subject to advertising rates.
Books
There are no complimentary ads for books written by members of the AME Church that are not published by the AMEC Publishing House (Sunday School Union). If a third party publishes the book, ask their advertising department to contact our office regarding an advertisement. If the book is self-published, the author must take out an advertisement.
Candidates for Offices for the 2020 General Conference
We will only take ads from candidates that have been certified by the General Secretary. Op-ed and news articles from local churches may be submitted; however, no mention of the candidacy can appear in the article.
