The following AMEs were elected to offices during the 2016 election cycle:

Ms. Valdez Demings, United States House of Representatives, Florida (10^th District)

Ms. Kamia Brown, Florida State House of Representatives (45^th District)

Mr. Jerry Demings, Orange County Sheriff

Ms. Kathleen Gordon, Orange County School Board (5^th District)

All of them are members of St. Mark AME Church, Orlando, Florida.
