The LOADI 9th Session 20th Anniversary Event Held at Hilton Hotel Sandton, South Africa on 23–24 February 2024

The 19^th Episcopal District Lay organization had a privileged of hosting a significate event (LOADI) Lay Organization African Development Initiative chaired by the 19^th Episcopal District President Sis Nomthimba Khoza with over 350 delegates, observers and visitors from the African continent and oversees delegates from the United stated gathered just immediately after the seating of Global Development Conference. Delagates from district 14-20 and oversees convened in one room and addressed challenges of the districts outside the United States and exchanged ideas on how to tackle the challenges that the districts are facing. The LOADI Conference seat every after 2 years. The event was graced by the presence of Bishops and their spouses. Bishop Dr Ronnie Elijah Brailsford Sr, Bishop Paul Jones Kawimbi, Bishop E Earl McCloud, Bishop Wilfred Messiah and Bishop J.N. Wicker.

The highlights of the event were the signing of (MOU) Memorandum of understanding between districts 14-20 and the recognition of the founders of the LOADI, the follow brothers were recognized and were presented with LOADI branded Jackets as a token of appreciation. Bro Johan J Claasen from Cape Annual Conference Lay President 15^th ED, Bro Kgosi Monaisa Co-Founder and former 19^th ED President, President Abby Makiti CLO President and the late Bro Jerry Manjinja the then 15^th ED President and founder of the LOADI. The best districts were also presented with awards by the district’s directors of Lay activities. Finally, the LOADI has its own identity which is in line with Corporate Identity of the Lay Organization. The New Logo was unveiled, and new branding material for the LOADI was handed over to the LOADI Chair all this was done through the assistance of the 19^th ED DOPR Sis Patricia Matonkonyane.
