Brownie Troop 56505 has had a fantastic year so far. We began the year with an end-of-summer kick-off at a local water park, and the bees buzzed on our party. Next, we joined the DuPage scouts for the opening ceremony, took a tour of the local Lisle Fire Department Station, and learned first aid. We then ventured over to the Lisle Police Station, became detectives, learned safety and CSI technology, tried on bulletproof vests, and got arrested. LOL. We flew into aviation with a tour of the local Bolingbrook Clow International Airport and Museum. Things got a little STEMy and slimmey at the Sloomoo Institute, having fun and making slime. A touch of the holiday spirit and cheer with moms at the Drake for afternoon tea to finish 2023. The new year began with all paws on deck at the West Suburban Humane Society, learning about caring for animals and pet adoption. Clowning around is always fun with CircEsteem to get the job done.
Lastly, I attended the 2023 National Convention in Orlando, Florida, in July 2023. I served as a National Delegate with Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago Northwest Indiana. This was an awesome experience.
