THE CHRISTIAN RECORDER REPORT
The Christian Recorder started with multi language approach. The Chair is Bishop David Daniels and the Editor made his second report. The Editor did a dedication to mentors and role models in his journey. The report recognized Churches with major subscriptions. Dr. Thomas articulated the paper continued via the QR Code. The paper survived the many events in the World. The oldest worldwide Newspaper. The goal is 10,000 by 2027. The Editor asked each Church to purchase at least. The Editor talked about Fellows.
THE DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP
This was Dr. Director’s third and last report. She organized Practioners and Scholars Conferences. She also organized the Sexual Ethics and Inclusion Conference at Emory University. Dr.Brown received several accolades for her service. She requested retirement from the Department.
LAY ORGANIZATION
The President made his report and shared it is the kits of the Delegates. The President shared the Officers and members of the Organized Lay. The President reported on the 10-point plan. He discussed recruitment and retention. The report talked about maintaining Young Adults in the organization. The President discussed financial stability for the Lay Organization. The Lay Organization also developed a survey regarding more participation.
THE JUDICIAL COUNCIL REPORT
The council discussed various complaints and asked that decisions be prepared for the Website. A member of South Africa served on the Council. There was a challenge regarding in person meetings due to Pandemic and Travel expenses. The President discussed challenges, and she talked about economic impact on the Council. She gave homage to deceased members, Attorney Mayberry and Dr.Green. The President thanked the members of the Council for the work.
