Flipper Temple Supports Sickle Cell

On April 14, 2018, the Sickle Cell Foundation of GA held a Race and Walk in
East Point, Georgia. This event was held to bring awareness to Sickle Celland how it affects our community. The Sickle Cell Foundation of GA helps individuals and families apply for free federal assistance. The programs include food stamps, Medicaid, TANF, and low-cost internet services.
Kudosto Ms. Lillie and Jesse who represented as the champions they are in the Sickle Cell Walk! Ms. Lillie placed second in the 65+ age group by completing the 2.5-mile course in a mere 34 minutes! Jesse crossed the finish line without breaking a sweat! She and Jesse are true winners and Moon’s Stars! Way to go Mrs. Lillie Jackson! Keep running for Jesus!
