AME Church Blesses Motorcycles in Church Service
On Sunday, August 27, Trinity AME Church in Newark, Ohio, held a motorcycle blessing and worship service at 11 a.m. Bikers were invited to join in the service “as we pray for your safety in all your travels.” Several different local motorcycle clubs attended the service. The Rev. Bruce A.D. Wynn is the pastor and the morning message was, “Life is Like a Motorcycle” from Psalm 20.
Light refreshments were served immediately after the worship service. The church plans to do the service again in the Spring.
