The 2025 VBS Theme, “The Jesus Connection: Downloads from Heaven,” was conducted July 15-18. The lessons revealed from the very beginning are that God’s plan has been for Christians to connect to Him through Jesus. The students examined the connection that gives all believers purpose (Adam), guides their prayer (Asa), inspires their service (Simon of Cyrene), and keeps everyone faithful (Mary Magdalene).
The Christian Education Department extends a special thank you to all participants: The Kitchen Ministry (Manna Makers); Mr. Bill Williams, Holy Maintenance Network; Signal Bearers, Mr. Willie Sandifer and Mr. Darwin Washington; Recreation Router, Mr. Willie Bradford; Guardian Connector, Mr. Ronald Johnson; Signal Seekers, led by Mrs. Tammy Johnson and Mrs. Claire Philadelphia; Messiah’s Messengers, led by Mrs. Jamela Bradford; The Cloud Connectors, led by Mrs. Kay Adkins; The Next Gen Receivers, led by Mr. Steven Blackmon and Brother Jason Gilmore; and the Kingdom Downloaders, led by the Reverend Lillie Rivers, Mr. Earnest Harris (Grady-Madison), Mr. Bobby Adkins, and Mrs. Lydia Owens.
From this year’s lessons, everyone was encouraged to stay plugged in to Jesus always to receive the downloads they need from heaven.
