The Christian Education Congress and Planning Meeting is a call to bring together all seven conferences within the 14th Episcopal District, including Liberia, Ghana, the Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Togo, Benin, and Sierra Leone. A call to plan for the church, under the theme “In Pursuit of Excellence in Ministry: Empowering the church for Spiritual Growth and Economic Development” (2Peter 5:7-8)
It is a call to come together in fellowship and purpose, united by a commitment to nurture faith and foster spiritual growth within the church, and to cultivate an environment of excellence and stewardship in our educational ministries. It is also a call to gather and explore how to embody excellence in our discipleship and leadership practices, empowering others to grow in their faith and service.
The agenda for CEC 2025 includes meaningful discussions, inspiring workshops, and collaborative planning sessions designed to elevate our approaches to Christian education. Also, not neglecting prayer, sharing insights, learning, and fellowship, and embracing the spirit of creativity and plans that reflect the love of Christ in our pursuit of excellence in discipleship and leadership.
