The African Methodist Episcopal – AME INDIA is forging a bold new chapter in faith and leadership! In May 2025, AME India launched a historic six-month Discipleship Training Program, equipping 40 young and new pastors to lead with passion, wisdom, and unwavering devotion. Under the visionary leadership of Bishop Frederick Alan Wright, this transformative initiative is empowering these emerging leaders to serve communities across India—from tribal villages to urban centers.
The program focuses on:
- Strengthening biblical knowledge and spiritual growth
- Cultivating leadership grounded in AME’s legacy of justice and service
- Preparing pastors to minister with compassion to the marginalized
