Editor Thomas Elected President of the Associated Church Press; The Christian Recorder wins multiple “Best of Church Press” Awards

At the 2023 Convention of the Associated Church Press held from April 19-21 in Chicago, Illinois, Editor John Thomas III was elected as the President of the Associated Church Press for the 2023-2025 term. He previously served as Vice President from 2021-2023. The Associated Church Press is North America’s oldest trade association for religious publications.

At the 2022 “Best of Church Press” Awards, The Christian Recorder won the following awards:

Editorial Award of Excellence (2022) for “It’s the Ethics for Me.”

Honorable Mention in Newspaper/Newsletter Design, Entire Issue for its October Edition (2022).

Honorable Mention for Best in Class–Newspaper (2022).
