Dear Colleagues and Friends, 

I greet you in the Precious and Powerful Name of Jesus Christ for and on behalf of your brothers and sisters in the 17th Episcopal District.

Please assist the 17th Episcopal District with transportation. It’s challenging for us to travel in the 17th District without a car, especially as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

I want to appeal for support from you all to enable the 17th Episcopal District to purchase a 4X4 Toyota Motor Vehicle to be able to travel and do our work safely. We have identified a car in Zambia: a Toyota 4runner for US$56,600.00.

The 17th Episcopal District consists of Twelve (12) Annual Conferences; 70 Presiding Elder Districts covering Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, and Congo Brazzaville. 

The District has a vast geographical land mass, different climates, and rugged terrains, which pose a significant challenge to traveling by public transportation between conferences. The rough terrains make up most of the road network. This poses a challenge to traveling and movements. Most of our churches are also in remote areas, very rural and in distant places.
