AME Church General Counsel Elected Fellow

At the annual dinner of the American College of Bond Counsel, held on October 18 at the University Club of Chicago, the Board of Directors of the College inducted Douglass P. Selby as a new Regular Fellow. The letter from the Selection Committee so informing him read in part that he had been elected for “your many accomplishments and adherence to high standards of ethical conduct.”

The mission of the College of Bond Counsel is to promote high ethical professionalism in the practice of public finance law. In the Wednesday, October 19, 2016 edition of The Bond Buyer, The Daily Newspaper of Public Finance, the College congratulated its 13 newly elected Fellows of the Class of 2016. Each was from a different law firm and state. Selby was the sole Fellow from his firm, Hunton and Williams, LLP, and from the State of Georgia.


Douglass Selby serves as the Legal Counsel for the AME Church.
